Overview

Audio Zone Trigger is a sound detection system. It enables you to specify how your computer reacts to live audio from any source.

User-defined Triggers control Audio Zone Trigger. Each Trigger has its own noise threshold, plus an action to perform when the volume crosses that threshold. Typical actions include recording the sound, running software, and providing audio for Webcam Zone Trigger.

You can specify each Trigger's sensitivity and actions individually, giving you full control. You can also allow the trigger to dynamically adapt to the environment's volume levels, so that it only reacts to peaks.

Audio Zone Trigger was designed with the following in mind:

• Security - record audio, set off an alarm, or use Webcam Zone Trigger to capture video footage.
• Monitoring - record sound for particular events, or on command.
• Home automation - use sound to control, e.g., light and climate.
• Integration with Webcam Zone Trigger - send triggers and supply audio to Webcam Zone Trigger.
