Quick tips:
  • Motion is best detected when it produces the most contrast. For best results, make sure the background is different from the things that move. Place the hot spot strategically.
  • Smaller motion detection hot spots have more precision. Don't use bigger hot spots than what you need to cover a strategic area.
  • Most webcams require good lighting to provide good images at a decent frame-rate.
  • Check out the Help menu in Webcam Zone Trigger; the user manual is a quick read, and the Video Help will show you a few examples.
