FTP settings

Use Webcam Zone Trigger's FTP client to upload images to the Internet. You can do this at regular intervals, or when a Hot Spot is triggered, or both.

FTP address to upload images
User Name
Password

If you have an FTP site, you already have this information. The password is automatically encrypted when you save your changes.

Initial folder

Upload files to this folder, creating it if required. If Webcam Zone Trigger cannot create or access the Initial folder, it disconnects and reports an error.

Use Passive Mode

Transfer files using a method not blocked by firewalls. Depending on the firewall between you and the remote server, you may want to use this option.

Interval between auto uploads

Send at least one image at every specified time period. The timer resets if an image is sent by a Hot Spot.

  • File names are numbered sequentially.
  • Time/date is watermarked on the images.
  • Files overwrite each other depending on Upload up to... images (see below).

Minimum interval between Hot Spot triggered uploads

Wait between uploads, regardless of whether a Hot Spot triggers during this time. (A Hot Spot set to upload images uploads images as long as it is triggered. That could mean a lot of files!)

Test FTP (button)

Send "ZT_Test.jpg" via the specified FTP. Use this to verify the settings, and that files are successfully saved on the remote server.
