Dual Pattern Hot Spot*

The Dual Pattern Spot measures the difference between the Hot Spot and two reference images, chooses the closest match, and triggers an Action when it latches between both. It's best to set up your reference images by placing objects in front of the camera, or waiting until they are in the right position.

The sensitivity slider is not used for Dual pattern spots.

To configure a Dual Pattern Spot

  1. Select the Hot Spot, click the Type button and select Dual Pattern Spot.
The Hot Spot transforms into the chosen type.
  2. Set up your first reference image and click the first Set button.
The reference image replaces the button.
  3. Set up your second reference image and click the second Set button.
The reference image replaces the button.
  4. If required, use the Continuous Time setting to give the Hot Spot time to confirm the match before triggering.
  5. Click the arrow between the two reference images until it indicates which triggers an Action:
ñ Latch to the first reference image.
    ô Both reference images.
ò Latch to the second reference image.
